Login Credentials Format

Your login information follows a specific format based on your personal details.

Username Format:

Your username is created using:

• The first 6 letters of your last name (or full last name if shorter than 6 letters)

• The first letter of your first name

• The two-digit day of your birthdate

Example:
For a student named Fred Thompson, born on January 22:
Username: thompsf22

Password Format:

Your password consists of:

• The last 4 digits of your Social Security Number

• Your 4-digit birth year

Example:
If your Social Security Number ends in 2234 and your birth year is 1990:
Password: 22341990

How to Log In

1. Go to the EMPOWER login page provided by your institution.

2. Enter your assigned username and password.

3. Click "Log In."

4. If prompted, update your password for security reasons.
